About us
MasterClass Car Rental hires vehicles to people in and around Harare. You book online, pay a deposit to hold the car, and collect it with your licence and ID. There is no membership, no account to create, and no waiting for somebody to call you back to tell you whether a car is free.
Who you are hiring from
Vehicles are hired by Emiton Investments (Private) Limited, a company registered in Zimbabwe under the Companies Act [Chapter 24:03], registration number 16829/2022, trading as MasterClass Car Rental. Our registered office is 1451 Silcox Avenue, Houghton Park, Harare.
We say this plainly because you are about to send money to a website. You are entitled to know exactly which company is receiving it, and to be able to look it up.
How hiring works
Choose your dates. The site shows what is genuinely available — it reads our real fleet, not a brochure. If a car is out, you will not be offered it.
Pay a deposit of half the estimated hire. That holds the vehicle for your dates. The balance is due when you collect.
Bring your licence and national ID. The person named on the booking must be the person collecting, and the licence must not be expired on the day. You can upload both in advance, which turns a twenty-minute collection into a two-minute one.
Full detail is in our terms of hire, including what happens with fuel, mileage, late returns and damage. We would rather you read it before booking than discover it afterwards.
What we are not
We are a small Harare operator, not an international chain. We do not have an airport desk. We do not have branches in other cities. What we do have is a fleet we maintain ourselves and a booking system that tells you the truth about what is free.
This page states only what can be proved from the company record and the booking system. Four things would make it considerably stronger, and only you can supply them: (1) how long the business has actually been hiring cars, if that predates the 2022 registration; (2) the fleet size you want advertised — the booking system currently lists eleven vehicles; (3) two or three real customer reviews, with permission to use the person's name; (4) a photograph of the premises or the fleet. Delete this block once they are in.
